Election method simulations

Really interesting stuff from Ping (yet again :-). Conceptually, I know that the Plurality method hurts moderate candidates. Still, the images are striking. The simulations also confirm my believe that Approval voting is the best objective of reform efforts. It works just as well as the more complicated methods (even though it might seem like it couldn't). The IRV (Hare) images are funny. I suppose they might not be if I lived in a region that was affected.

Greasemonky script for Mechanical Turk Jim Gray Search

It's crude but works well for me. The current HITs contain a single image and a pair of yes/no radio buttons. My greasemonkey script checks and focuses the "no" button. With my brower, that centers the image on the screen and allows me to submit by pressing the enter button. If you have "Automatically accept the next HIT" checked then it takes one keystroke per HIT (assuming you don't see anything interesting in the image).
